Chief Commander of the [[Ploi Drajit City Watch]]. Originally a member of a [[Ploi Drajit Army]] monster-hunting expeditionary force, Sharden fought innumerable battles with raiding monsters, until his last, against Zenunjo the [[troll]] king. While he finally slew the horror, with the help of his soldiers, the fight scarred him body and mind and he retired, only to be talked into becoming Chief Commander two years later. This saved him, as he was rapidly drinking himself to death. 

Today he is sober and widely respected as an excellent CC.
