 Born in [[Daflos]] at the [[Temple of Righteous Light]] to two clerics of the temple, Adriel was literally born and raised in the faith of [[Hephemia]], and accepted it enthusiastically, being a very serious and devout child. She breezed through her religion classes, clerical training, and combat skills programs, impressing everyone who saw her with her purity, goodness, and radiant beauty.

 Since then Adriel's commitment to her faith and will to redeem herself has never been stronger. Recently she took the vows of a traveling cleric in order to spread the light of her Lady all over the world. Very devout and very religious, she tends to see everything in terms of her faith, right and wrong, good and evil. She's not great at perceiving moral gray areas; she tried it once and got burned. This can lead to her being close-minded and judgmental. On the other hand, she is genuinely pure-hearted and forgiving.
