= Ploi Drajit City Watch =
A force of approximately 1300 officers who patrol the streets of [[ploi_drajit|Ploi Drajit]], keep the peace, enforce the law, investigate crimes (a special division), and arrest and imprison wrongdoers. The Watch Chief Commander is a [[dwarf|dwarven]] male named [[:oreg_sharden]], a former army commander. He reports directly to the City Lady.

The Watch is based out of the Watchtower, as well as ten smaller towers that are evenly spaced around the city. At any time, at least ten 2-man patrols are walking the city. In cases of major civil unrest, the Watch is augmented by the Army.

The standard guard uniform is a black tabard with the city's crest on the front, over a chain shirt, with sturdy boots, belt, metal helmet, and equipment satchel (including a whistle, rope, and shackles). They are typically armed with a spear and a dagger.
