One of the four sapient, extremely old tortoises the size of small islands which carry Tortle nations on their backs as they slowly cross the oceans, and are worshiped as gods by them. Akupara seem barely aware of the Tortles, or anything else, but will defend them if they are attacked, being capable of destroying entire war fleets with a single gulp.
