It terminates in the south in beaches dotted with granite spires, among which live Galeb Duhr. They have fought the dwarves over territory in the past, but today have a peace treaty. The only non-dwarf, non-galeb duhr settlement of the desert is Multacket.
Somewhere in the Galeb Duhr area is believed to be a portal to the Plane of Elemental Earth.
