A class of spelljamming ship built by humans and used by most spacefaring races. Tradesmen were designed as short-range merchant ships, capable of crossing between crystal spheres but not suitable for very long voyages. Its chief advantages are its cheapness, ease of sailing and small crew requirement, and relatively large cargo hold.
