One of the southern Ketten Islands, Phasicea’s population of about 300 is primarily made up of shipwreck survivors and their descendants (now mostly farmers, raising pigs and tropical fruits in the vicinity of the monastery) from the usual number of shipwrecks that have plagued the area.
This fact has led to rumors of a curse, a magically protected treasure hoard, or even a god’s wrath. None of these rumors has been confirmed, and no adventurers who have sought to discover the truth have returned from the journey into the island's dense jungle interior.
