Highly intelligent aberrations which resemble salmon-colored blobs with many tentacles. They are excellent battle smith artificers, known for building armored and well-armed suits to protect their frail bodies.
They rarely bother surface dwellers who leave them alone, focusing their aggressive tendencies on other Underdark civilizations, with whom they are known for starting wars of conquest. Their aim is to bring all beings under their control and to get them following their laws, foremost among which is that all must be mechanically enhanced, and the more you are the more virtuous and pure you are.
