Interesting locations in town include The Slippery Hammer, Nitwichie's Market, Ruins of Reingar Keep, Bricta's Hut, and The Everburning Candle.

In the hills to the northwest are The Mines. Resident in Staston is Frenno Nomen, as well as her rival Lindariel Sarumaul.

An adventuring party known as the Champions of the North is based in Staston.
