Having left his academy in a violent rage, Arkakas Malbolgia set out into the world to seek the true nature of The Great Old One and the purpose It envisioned for the Tiefling race. He joined The Legion of Llandos and had many adventures with them while learning the true nature of his patron and planning to free himself from it by killing it.
He was slain by a mysterious clockwork mage inside a great machine underneath Port Tellio in mid Waneel, CY 1117.
His soul was claimed from Y'chak by Symunon, who turned him into a celestial spirit and made him an assistant librarian in her Library of All Souls.
