Outside the village are ruins said to once have been a temple to an alien god know as Khasdu the Chaos Bringer. Locals give it a wide berth.
A few unusual individuals live in the village, such as Golenwe Malla, a carpenter who was magically imprisoned for 100 years after he insulted a fairy, Psaloe Thode, a recluse who rumor holds is a necromancer, and Pessa Ziteia, a washerwoman whose nightmares are broadcast to anyone sleeping within 100 ft. of her.
