Each galeb duhr has its own territory of between 1 to 4 miles, and they do not like visitors, even other galeb duhr, usually, save for periodic meetings called "tumbles". They are not overly hostile, however, and can be spoken with if brought gifts of stone or gems. They spend their time in contemplation or in "tending" the stones around them. They reproduce asexually and live for thousands of years.
