Legend says that whenever a pair of lovers is rejected by their families or communities and flees into the Mountains of Sajin and dies in each others arms due to its harsh conditions, an ancient curse traps them there as wandering spirits, hateful of the living as representatives of those that drove them off.
Many such pairs are said to haunt the mountains, murdering anyone they meet, especially any couple in love.
