The largest city state on the Jesenreth, with more than 200,000 inhabitants, this walled metropolis sits on both sides of the erkath as it flows into the Bay of Ploi. A wealthy city of very advanced culture, Ploi Drajit abounds in merchants, wizards, sages, artists and those coming to seek their fortunes in what many consider to be the capital of the world. It is majority human.
The city state is ruled by an individual whose inherited title is City Lord or City Lady. The city has a large army and powerful merchant and war fleets. The current City Lady is frey_malkalos.

The Copper Hammer
A large tavern popular with the working class, known for the illusions, such as nude dancing creatures of all genders, on the tables for the entertainment of its patrons. In the Hydra's District.
Statue of Plel Markan
Huge, corroded statue of the one of the legendary founders of city, a far-traveling human merchant, in the center of a small park, surrounded by stone tables. Local merchants come here to make contracts; it is said that anyone who breaks an oath sworn upon the statue will be slain before the next dawn. This doesn't seem to be true, but the tradition persists. In the Merchant's Village.
The Ruby Axe
A large, two-story inn, famous for its comfy rooms and good food at fair prices. In Scholar's Farthing.
Syndecol Industries Store 003
Long metal building that houses the local store of Syndecol Industries, which sells versions of the same goods as surrounding merchants, usually at lower prices than they can.
Amphitheater of Dresdos
A huge, ornately decorated stadium, owned by the city government and used for the staging of all manner of spectacles, from orchestral concerts, to plays and masques, to the Trial of Swords, to the trials (and executions) of famous criminals. In the Tower District.
The Broken Thorn
A dangerous, run-down tavern, catering to sailors (and criminals) and serving only rum. In the western Dock Ward.
The Watchtower
A heavily-fortified building of timber and stone walls, main headquarters of the ploi_drajit_city_watch. It adjoins a large gaol used to detain criminals. Adjacent to the Central Market.
The Asylum
A two-story building of stone walls, filled with the madmen and lunatics of the city. In South Dukesthrone District.
The Sparkling Helm
An elegant, high-priced inn, frequented by wealthy merchants and visiting nobles. In Ashhill Borough.
Temple of Elwer
A large church dedicated to the god and staffed by his priests and clerics. Popular with the working and middle-classes, paid lip service to by the elite. In the Armorer's District.
Heva's Anvil
The workshop of a female human blacksmith named heva_brodont, who rumors say has been purchasing much more raw iron than usual. In the Mastiff's Ward.
Tower of Hrer
The four-story stone tower dwelling place of one of the city's most famous mages, male human conjurer wizard hrer_malstaf. In the Arcanist's Village.
Anthond's Consultancy
A large, one-story office and house, home to male dwarf sage anthond_durock. It is here that he maintains his book vault and consults for pay on the many subjects of his expertise, principally history, geography, and monstrous and evil beings. In Lion's Farthing.
Beada's Clocks
A cluttered tinkerer's workshop in a two-story wood building, filled with swinging pendulums and interlocking gears, home and store of female tortle artificer beada_bek, who makes and sells clocks and many other mechanical and magi-mechanical devices. In the Charger's Village.
City Palace
Really a wall-surrounded compound of several buildings from which the City Lady and her staff administer the city. In the Greattome Borough.
Church of Devet
More a group of people than a single location, these worshipers of the God of lies are believed to be many in the city, including several powerful merchants, military leaders, and city officials, seeking to take it over for their god. Several buildings throughout the city and certain underground locations town are rumored to be meeting places for the Church.
Army Fortress
The headquarters of the city's up to 50000 soldier ploi_drajit_army. In the eastern Dock Ward.
The headquarters of the ploi_drajit_city_navy's fleet of military ships, situated on several long artificial islands in the bay_of_druze.
Wykel's Wands
Single story brick building, store and home of the male water genasi wizard wykel_witherstan, who sells magical components and a limited selection of magic items. In the Arcanist's Farthing.
The Sewers
Complex network of waste-disposal tunnels underneath the city. Known hideout for criminals and, stories say, horrible monsters.
Deniet's Blades and Bludgeons
One story stone building, shop of weapon merchant gyliem_deniet, a male elf originally from perune. Stocks all manner of common weapons, sourced from city blacksmiths and imported, but specializes in exotic or unusual weapons. In Archsword Village.
The Gauntlet
Stone building that serves as the headquarters of The Dungeon Delving Society of Ploi Drajit. In Drakesfane Village.
