The process of converting magical energy into motive force by means of magic items called helms, and using the same to propel ships through Wildspace and the Phlogiston. Spelljamming ships are common in the Jesenreth Sphere, and several organizations on the planet or its moon own and use spelljammers. Moving in a straight line in Wildspace, a Spelljamming vessel moves at 100 million miles a day. In a planetary atmosphere, a Spelljamming vessel can achieve speeds in excess of Mach 1.
