Desdera

The goddess of war, protection, and courage manifests in various forms in the dreams and visions of mortal creatures: a young, strong, and beautiful woman of the viewer's race clad in heavy plate mail and wielding a burning sword and icy shield, a flapping banner of the viewer's nation, a rousing thunder of trumpets and drums calling a charge, or a hand closing into a fist.

The War Lady is war fought for a good cause, self defense and the defense of others, honorable combat, consent, the crusade against evil, righteous rage, rescue, fair play, bold, decisve action, trust, bravery, friendly competition, and self-improvement. She strengthens the arm of those who fight if their hearts are pure, she aides the assaulted and the bullied, and rewards those who conduct conflict with honor. She is worshipped by soldiers, guards, city watchmen, and anyone needing protection and courage in a struggle, be it a battle or an argument.

Her priests are called Battle Brothers/Sisters, her clerics Fighting Fathers/Mothers, her paladins Fists of Desdera. Her favored beer is India pale ale. She resides on Mount Celestia in a domain called The Barracks.
