Walled town of about 2000 inhabitants on the northern plains of the Confederation of Uth, between Evensell and Staston.
The mayor of Avergill is Reedbill Tirgus, who brought back the practice of hanging criminals outside town on Gallows Hill. This has secured him six consecutive terms as mayor.
Interesting locations in town in include Raven's Market, The Merry Scoundrel, Aldren's Tomes, and The Flying Horse Inn.
A few miles north of town stands the Vallwood.
