The Boiling Sea

Location:boiling sea.jpg?direct&400Covering the southern pole of the planet, this massive region of ocean literally boils, and thus is shrouded in a huge mass of steam that greatly affects Jesenreth's climate and weather patterns. The cause of this boiling is a large portal to the heart of the Plane of Elemental Fire at the center of the sea.

No creatures other than fire and water elementals live in the Boiling Sea, and all ships give it a wide berth.
