Syllesta Ashar

Female fire Genasi bartender at The Lower Deck. Nineteen years old, she is fit, and attractive, with hair of actual fire. She is friendly, hardworking, and good with customers, loving to hear their stories, especially when it brings business into the bar.

Ashar is the only child of Zagrib, a blacksmith, and Diya, a weaver, both unfortunately dying when she was young, leaving Syllesta to be raised by aunts. She showed little interest in education or trades, eventually falling into her bartending position because she had nothing else to do. Therein she thrived, her looks and charisma being credited for turning around the fortunes of the failing bar. She also has an excellent singing voice and is teaching herself the lute.

Ashar is one of the very few fire Genasi whose hair is actually fire. She is careful to not burn things or people with it, and is capable of turning it of, appearing bald. She does NOT allow herself to be seen in public like this.
