The Stormspire

An towering obelisk of weathered stone in Numia, engraved with columns of unknown runes, predating thecity, which was built around it. Each time the spire is struck by lightning, it vanishes for exactly nine hours. Each time it returns, some of the runes have changed. Sages have studied it for centuries, but there is no agreement on its meaning or purpose. It seems to do no harm, but locals fear it.
