Nowhales

Surreal, intelligent whale-like beings who inhabit The Nowhere, and may help the lost find a way home. They also, very rarely, act within existence by being the patrons of warlock.

Nowhales as Warlock Patrons

Your patron is a surreal entity native to The Nowhere resembling a whale, if a whale were eternal, inscrutable, and sat astride the line between Being and Non-being. For reasons of its own, it has contacted and bound you into its service, that it might act among the planes of Being. Your pact with a Nowhale allows you to experience and control the bizarre ontological properties of The Nowhere.

Bonus Cantrips: Spare the Dying, Resistance

1st level ability: Embody Nothingness (add prof. bonus to armor class for 1 hour) Regain long rest.

6th level ability: Negation: As an action, either end one spell or magical effect on you or a creature you touch, or as a reaction cause one attack that hit you to miss. Regain after completing a short or long rest.

10th level ability: Going Nowhere: As an action, you step into The Nowhere for an instant, re-emerging anywhere you choose within 1000 ft. of your starting point. Long rest.

14th level ability: The Being of Nonbeing: As an action, you cease to exist for an round, during which you cannot be seen or act. When you return, you are like new, resting all hp and losing all conditions. Long rest.
