Clowder Finisbaer
Very old human male diviner wizard and scrollwright. Owner of Clowder's Scriptorium. Fair-skinned, tall, thin, with long white hair, white beard, bushy eyebrows and a long nose. Wears green and red robes, loves cats. Born and raised in Flui Drary, into a modest merchant family whose business was business equipment like scales, locks, and pen and paper. The oldest of seven, he was only one not to work in the family business, instead being apprenticed to a wizard and scroll maker.
After completing his apprenticeship he went into business for himself in Evensell, but after a few years found the life boring and decided to adventure. After one adventure in which he very nearly died in a kobold trap, he reopened his business in Ploi Drajit, and worked successfully at it for several decades. Twenty years ago, wanting a better climate as he got older, he opened his business in Sablos.
He has never been married, has no children, and very rarely takes apprentices. He is over 82, but pledges to keep working until he falls over. He is known as as highly skilled scrollwright, but a grumpy, cantankerous old man who lives alone and rarely leaves his tower.
