Largest of the central Ketten Islands, on Raisa. Home to 6000 inhabitants, it is a rich and thriving city that features an academy of magic and a school of shipbuilding, as well as many famous inns and taverns. At the center of the city square stands a statue of obsidian, placed to honor Lord Besipho, founder of the city.
A female fire giant named Mnikiro lives in Throbrax and runs a forge and armor shop.
In the wilderness beyond the city stand several ruined castles.
