Skusk
The smallest of the large islands, Skusk is ruled, or some would say infested by, savage gnolls, who do have a somewhat organized society, even if that organization is around terror, murder, and plunder. There is one city, zaar, a ramshackle pile of crude buildings existing in a general state of squalor, save of course for the palace of the chief, an individual who calls himself king_bonegnawer.
It is from Zaar that the gnolls launch their ravager fleets to rape, despoil and pillage on land and sea. The rest of Skusk is full of monsters that the gnolls hunt for sport.
Legends say that Skusk was not always home to the gnolls, but was once home to an advanced society, and ruins from it abound, ignored by the gnolls.
