A class of spelljamming ships built by humans and used by most spacefaring races. Tradesmen were designed as short-range merchant ships, capable of crossing between crystal sphere but not suitable for very long voyages. It's chief advantages are its cheapness, ease of sailing and small crew requirements, and relatively large cargo hold.
