Short for "Dark Habitat," the lower, darker, denser levels of the atmosphere of the planet Fythia, where nothing lives save dangerous monsters. These monsters are hunted by the people of Qhooqiad to prevent them from attacking in their layer, called "Brighthab," and in order to harvest their parts, which are used in making many medicines.
