Prime Material Plane

The plane of existence that is the home of mortal beings. There is one prime plane, infinite in extent, but with many, many finite crystal spheres within it, most containing several planets. Mortals see the prime plane as the "center" of the Great Wheel, but to all others this is an almost unimaginable hubris, because the prime plane, to them, is a miserable, dirty backwater.
