A group of illithid occupying the Blood of Quata and serving the elder brain Quirlx. There are believed to be several hundred, and they are known to preform dark experiments, such as the creation of bizarre and abominable life forms. They also defend and support pirates who bring them slaves and food, i.e., beings whose brains they can eat. Visiting mind flayer ships frequently stop here.
