Modric Laftim

Male halfling originally from Oerth who lives permanently, via special arrangement with the Derdisc family, at The Crossed Swords in Flui Drary. It is rumored that he provides some unknown service in return for his room and board.

He never wears shoes, but always sports an over-sized green coat with silver buttons, and is seldom seen without his cane and long-stemmed pipe. He is heavy set, with tan skin, bushy sideburns, green eyes, and chestnut-brown hair.

Most of the time he can be found smoking in the dining room.
