Stone giant

A type of giant that dwells deep underground, with stone grey skin, wearing tunics of monster hide and wielding clubs and rocks expertly. They are, for the most part, peaceful, philosophical, and family oriented, believing the always-changing surface world to be only a dream, lacking the solid reality of stone.

Stone giants who venture into this unreal world are considered the wisest and greatest of their kind (though some call them mad), and are called dreamwalkers. Stone giants can live up to 800 years.
