The Idols of the King
Tragedy written by the Royal Company of Players playwrights, their biggest hit in years. Tickets were hard to come by. In its original run it starred Farund Storduum as Durdimdal IX, a historical king of Ufrealor who, after a series of tragedies and setbacks, forsook the gods and accepted a deal with devils, which lead to his horrible death and the defeat of his people at the hands of the elves. Popular with audiences, it received mixed reviews from critics.
