Female Half-Elf tavernkeeper of Karcax, co-owner of The Old Witch.

Middle-aged and plump, she once worked as the teacher at the village's school, until her husband retired and they bought the tavern. She has brown skin and dark hair.

Vela runs the tavern's weekly axe-throwing competitions, and is known as an expert thrower herself.
