The ruler of The Yar Kanti Islands and High Priest of the Snake Gods is Szotsissish. The capital is Sslak. Other key cities include Zessah, Ektlieh, and Szatstliss.
The Yuan-ti engage in some trade, but mostly keep to themselves, a notable exception being their antagonism with Thulok Karn of Sarborea, whom they accused of being a blasphemer for claiming to be blessed with his sorcerer powers by the Snake Gods.They have taken his death as vindication of their views.
