The Dead Lady is the process of dying and the journey of the soul first to judgement in her court for its deeds and beliefs in life, and then on to its fitting eternal home, truth, vision, balance, justice being done, consequences, detection, making fair decisions, even-handedness, discernment, perception, moving on, fate, destiny, equality, patience, and moderation. She blesses those dying at their appointed time, those who listen to both sides and make hard decisions with fairness, and those rightly imprisoned or rightly freed from bondage. She hates anything that interferes with the natural process of life and death, such as undeath, and is worshiped by undertakers, gravediggers, judges and law enforcers, decision makers, and those about to die.

The goddess of the dead, judgement, and justice manifests in various forms in the dreams and visions of mortal creatures: a woman of the viewer’s race in a bone-white robe, one half of her face beautiful yet judgmental, the other half skeletal yet forgiving, a field of tombstones, the sound a gavel falling or prison doors closing, or a pair of broken shackles.

Her priests are called Gravetenders, her clerics are called Death Shepherds, and her paladins are called Judges of the Dead. Her favored beer is barley wine. She resides in The Outlands in a domain called The Cemetery Court.
