The Journals of Elkoris are a mysterious set of cartographic, ethnographic, archaeological, geological, botanical, theological, and arcane writings and highly detailed maps believed to be attributed to Elkoris Kehthelune, a High Elf of Lutran. Transcriptions of these texts began circulating around Jesenreth in CY 1123. The known study areas to date have included portions of territories of the known world including Itrefaulk, Sarborea, the Ketten Islands, Marbindor, Jeshos, and here-to-far unmapped and unknown areas of The Frozen Sea.
Reputed Monographs, Maps, and Subject Matters attributed to the Journals of Elkoris
Complete Journals of Eibon the Merciless: Volumes I-III A three volume collection of the writings of the legendary Eibon the Merciless, a cruel wizard warlord in the Lutran region from 300-400 years before present.
Historical Map of the Lutran Region: Highly detailed map extracted from the Complete Journals of Eibon, going back as far as 400 years before present.
Map to the Children of Eibon: Map of locations of a religious wizard cult, the Children of Eibon, that continued following the pseudo-vampire Eibon the Merciless, for nearly four centuries following his mortal death.
Artist’s Sketch of an Antique Air Car: An artist’s technical rendering of an antique (allegedly 400 year old) air car. Stamped with the seals of Elkoris Kethelune and Tomorn Brassflight.
Map of Modern Dref Dral: Detailed map stamped with the wax seal of Elkoris Kehthelune dated CY 1123.
Tales of the Missionaries of the Lady of Light: An artful transcription of an ancient text related to the interplanetary travels of devotees of Hephemia, stamped with the seal of Elkoris Kehthelune.
On the Origin of Phlogiston: Transcription of a single undated parchment.
A List of Sherds: A complete list of the reputed Sherds of Destiny associated with the legendary Pot of Destiny.
A Complete Atlas of the Planet Jesenreth: Parchment facsimiles produced by Elkoris Kehthelune of an original ~4000 year old text. The book was made of stone, had metal binding, weighed ~30 lbs, and contains notable details of areas associated with The Sunken Land.
Selections from the Vault of Naradon: Parchment facsimiles produced by Elkoris Kehthelune from the stronghold in the Mountains of Mikanos of an ancient Earth Genasi King near the Four Elements Temple. Just a small selection from this vast collection is slowly becoming available.
17 Historical Maps from the Vault of Naradon: Long forgotten maps from a set of scrolls believed to be recovered by The Sherds during their survey of the Vault of Naradon.
Map of Infinite Staircases: This title has circulated in the muffled echoes of dark ally ways, but no copies or hard proof that it exists have yet proven credible. It is rumored that agents of the Leng Corporation tried to kidnap and murder Baeah Kehthelune to acquire this document, but to their peril at the hands of The Sherds.
Modern Cartography and Glacial Geology of the Frozen Sea: Modern map of The Frozen Sea coastline possessing the seal of Elkoris Kehthelune.
Methods and Movements of the Darakhul Empire: Writings of a seemingly fanciful conspiracy theory claiming that the Darakhul Empire (an ancient ghoulish syndicate) is organizing in the modern Frozen Sea area, and crossing time-space in its current conquests. Much of which allegedly includes incursions on the ancient Elven Civilization of Aslerron, around 36,000 years in the past.
New Partial Map of Ancient Aslerron: A partial map and architectural sketches of the ancient Elven Civilization of Aslerron, from ~36,000 years before present. This lost civilization allegedly existed in the region now known as The Frozen Sea.
An Artist’s Sketch of the Complete Pot of Destiny: Hyper-detailed rendering which holds the alleged stamp of Elkoris Kehthelune.
A Spatial Survey of the Demi-Plane of Puzzles: Descriptions and maps of a mysteriously entitled Demi-Plane of Puzzles.
Complete Black Draco Genesis Formula: Rumored title only, of an outrageously improbable to exist fantasy text. Non-credible sources including street children claim that The Sherds of Lutran recovered this formulation from the writings of Scylla, a Medusa wizard who ruled the Demi-Plane of Puzzles.
