Most ships which visit the island dock here. The town's principle industries are trade and fishing. Interesting locations in the village include the Tower of Melusistr, The Bloody Thorn, The Wolf and Hare, Reald's Inn, The Bountiful Bosom, and Sicomnos Forges.

Dinfar Aldenhere lives here. Hyten Docald does as well.

A half day's walk north of the village lies Calsby Wood.
