Syndecol Industries
A mostly human nation entirely incorporated and run as a company which solely owns and operates iredol, the only moon of Jesenreth. Syndecol Industries' business is manufacturing all manner of mundane goods sold to the planet below and to passing Spelljammer traders, as well as weapon and ship manufacturing, mining and refining, espionage/mercenary work, and financial services. Fantastically wealthy, the company owns land on Jesenreth and in many other places in the sphere, and has spies and agents in practically every organization and government, weaving a web of power and influence matched only by the Archmages of the Citadel of High Magic, their long-time rivals and enemies. The population of the nation/company is a closely guarded company secret.
Syndecol Industries is an oppressive, mechanistic oligarchy, at least to outsiders. Its citizen employees tend to see its policies as an efficient and rational way to live, and are proud of the power, wealth and influence of "The Company." They toil hard in its dark, grimy factories and too-bright offices to push the company's profits ever higher next quarter. Partially as a result of this hard work and the resources of the moon, Syndecol has the highest level of technology, magical and otherwise, in the sphere.
Synedcol Industries is run by a Director and a Board of Executives. The current Director is a human male named Marleburton Hammerskan and the Board of Executives consists of humans Tralesia Murton, Denne Braskell, Juhn Jeskan, Roders Hetterbusk, Andomin Prandell, Larst Nickor, and dwarf Kurg Ruddbor.
The company was named after, at her insistence, Syndecol Marits, partner of the company's legendary founder, whose ancient airship can be found on display at the center of the only green space in Syndec City, Farwalker Park.
