The plateau is mostly wilderness, with scattered villages and small towns, such as Cawic, and is crossed by the paved road that originates in Gretell and runs through Glensjust on the coast. The plateau is known for its unusual flora and fauna, including giant butterflies, alliumites, stirges, awakened shrub, blights, dire wolves, and giant eagles.
